2012 NBA trade deadline’s winners and losers

What makes the trade deadline so special? It’d filled with surprising transactions made by teams who may or may not be in the rumor mill during the season. The front office of each and every management works hard to find that perfect deal during this time of the year. The deadline was like the black Friday of the NBA world. What makes trades so unique is how some search for pieces to improve their squad, while others do it to clear the cap space. It surprising to see how some front offices had already given up their playoff chances based on the deals that were made in the last few days. Who has made some glaring changes to their team?

Kobe acting like an old man
Don’t get me wrong. Kobe Bryant is a great player, if not, one of the greats. His matured style of play reflects the name of this blog, so I definitely praise the job he has been providing for the Lakers throughout his career.
I never like the comments about players being, “old,” when they are only in their thirties. It seems outrageous to say that when they are still physically capable of doing things that many younger ones dream about.
Until Bryant’s demeanor at the free throw, and after exchange with Thabo Sefolosha last night, my argument may be a contradiction.
